TikTok ads built on a three-second hook

Short vertical video planned around the first three seconds, a weekly creative rhythm, product catalogue ads and Events API tracking so TikTok learns who buys. From €590 a month plus ad spend.

from€590per month excl. VAT, plus ad spend paid by you to TikTok. You own the ad account.

A question that names a problem holds over half the viewers here. Send your own 2-second view rate with the quote form and the first sprint starts from that number.

Sample script for an imaginary insulated mug. The curve is an illustrative model, not TikTok data. Your real curve comes from Ads Manager: 2-second and 6-second views, average play time and the 25, 50, 75 and 100 percent view counts.

The weekly creative sprint

TikTok tires of the same video fast, so new creative is a habit, not a campaign. Each week runs the same five steps. Pick a day to see who does what.

Monday: Briefabout 1 h

What happens
Read last week's 2-second and 6-second view rates and cost per purchase, then write three new hooks for the angle that held attention.
Output
A one-page brief: three hooks, one shot list, one offer.
Your part
Approve the brief or swap a hook. Ten minutes.
My part
Numbers, hooks, shot list.

Spark Ads: your own posts, boosted

Spark Ads run an organic post from your TikTok account, or a creator's with their authorisation code, as an ad. Likes, comments and follows stay on the original post, so paid reach also builds your profile. When a post does well organically on Tuesday, it can be a Spark Ad by Thursday.

What the monthly work covers

Your account, your assets

Business Center, Ads Manager, pixel and catalogue in your company's name. I work with partner access you can remove at any time.

Pixel and Events API

Browser pixel plus server-side Events API with a shared event_id, so purchases are counted once and survive blocked scripts.

Catalogue ads

Your product feed connected for video shopping ads, with titles and images checked first in a clean product feed.

Hook-first editing

Variants that share proof and offer but change the first three seconds, captions burned in and kept clear of the app's on-screen buttons.

Audiences that learn

Broad targeting with exclusions, plus retargeting of video viewers and site visitors once there is enough data.

Plain reports

Hook rate, cost per purchase and what the next sprint tests, checked against GA4 and server-side tracking and your break-even ROAS.

When I would not recommend TikTok

  • 01Your buyers are procurement teams with six-month cycles. Search ads and LinkedIn reach them better; Google Ads is usually the first step.
  • 02Nobody can film or approve new videos every week. Without fresh creative, results fade and the fee is not worth paying.
  • 03The product cannot be shown working in 20 seconds, or it falls under TikTok's restricted categories. Check the advertising policies for your sector before we spend anything.

Send one video you already run. I will tell you where viewers leave.

Questions about TikTok ads

Is TikTok right for my business?

Usually, if your product can be shown working in a short vertical video and buyers decide within days rather than months. Consumer goods, food, beauty, home and hobby products fit well. Long B2B sales cycles and products that need a demo call fit poorly. A two to four week test answers it with real numbers.

Do I need to be on camera?

No. Hands, product close-ups, screen recordings, voice-over and on-screen text all work, and many strong ads never show a face. A person on camera can help trust, so you, a colleague or a paid creator are options. I write shot lists you can film on a phone in about an hour.

What are Spark Ads?

Spark Ads turn an existing organic TikTok post into an ad, either from your own account or from a creator's with their authorisation code. Views, likes, comments and follows count on the original post, so the ad also grows your profile. They tend to feel native in the feed because they are real posts.
